Dan Woodard, from Carstairs, Alberta, is the husband of Deanna and father of three sons, Joseph, Jacob (married to Laura) and Jonathan. Dan holds a BA degree in Bible and Secondary Education from Tennessee Temple University. He has also done post-graduate work at Providence Seminary in Otterburne, Manitoba. For over thirty years he has been involved in ministry among First Nations peoples, ten years in northwest Ontario, ten years in Winnipeg, and now twelve years in Carstairs. For the past nineteen years he and Deanna have served with InterAct Ministries as Native church consultants with a focus on developing First Nations leadership for First Nations churches. Dan and Deanna’s ministry exists to fulfill the Great Commission by assisting First Nations leaders in developing disciples, leaders and churches across Canada, and points beyond. Dan enjoys reading, writing, hunting, and playing piano.
